West Way Square
Project
Origin worked with Mace Construction on a multi million pound mixed use development at West Way Square in Botley, Oxfordshire which opened in stages throughout 2020.
The key part of the development is a central public piazza with restaurants and cafes, which will provide an attractive focal point to the mixed-use scheme comprising of a selection of restaurants, cafés and convenience stores catering for the local community, residents, students and hotel guests. The development has great transport links and over 300 car parking spaces.
Included in the development will be 140 residential apartments comprising of one, two or three bedrooms, 123 bedroom hotel, student accommodation with 261 apartments, public facilities, library, new community building and 51,000 sq ft of retail and restaurant space with attractive outdoor areas.
Small to medium size businesses are well catered for with an impressive 3,300 sq ft of open office space.

Result
The scheme received no Highways objection and construction is largely completed with the bulk of the development occupied.
