Development Management

Here at Origin, we  collaborate with various local authorities supporting and assisting with their Transport Development Management teams.

 

We are framework transport planning consultants to Buckinghamshire Council and support them with the delivery of their Transport Development Management function.  Our enduring partnership demonstrates the expertise, capability, and dedication of our team in safeguarding the Authority's best interests. We have also been supporting West Northamptonshire Council and Slough Borough Council on strategic sites.

We evaluate transportation implications ranging from individual housing planning applications to large-scale urban expansions and town centre regeneration schemes. Our responsibilities include reviewing Transport Statements and Assessments, engaging directly with developers to secure necessary mitigation strategies, infrastructure enhancements, and public transportation upgrades. Additionally, we provide clear and comprehensive feedback to the Local Planning Authority and actively participate in Members Site Visits, Committee Meetings, and Local Area Forums to tackle transportation challenges that result from planning proposals.
